This resource lists evidence-based strategies to promote equitable access to food during national emergencies such as COVID-19. Strategies are based in public, private, and multi-sector stakeholders, considering the ways that online grocery shopping and food delivery services can be utilized to support vulnerable groups.

This study examined racial/ethnic disparities, exposure risks, testing rates, positive tests, and case rates for California residents from March to October 2020 to identify racial/ethnic groups with high-risk households. The study finds that Latinos are disproportionately affected, being approximately 8 times more likely to live in a high-risk household than other racial/ethnic groups
