This guidebook was designed to increase equity and access in COVID-19 testing and contact tracing in Virginia. The guidelines included a health equity framework, recommendations for working with communities, common barriers to COVID-19 testing faced by the most at-risk populations, and how to identify areas with unmet testing needs. Descriptions of how to determine appropriate interventions for testing, contact tracing, and building trusting community relationships are included.

The Coronavirus Perinatal Experiences Impact Survey (COPE-IS) is an assessment tool for new and expecting mothers that was built through a collaborative process with more than 100 scientists and clinicians involved. The tool focuses on experiences of new and expecting mothers, including exposure to COVID-19, financial considerations, social support, restricted activities, and coping.

This article describes strategies used to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on patients enrolled in a clinical trial providing patient navigation to pregnant mothers with opioid use disorder (OUD). The practice strategy this article is focused on is mitigating the effects of the pandemic on pregnant women with OUD, particularly those also experiencing intimate partner violence.

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)-Associated Hospitalization Surveillance Network (COVID-NET) conducts population-based surveillance for laboratory-confirmed COVID-19-associated hospitalizations in children (less than 18 years of age) and adults. The data can be used for data collection and analysis and is available by race, age, and sex. COVID-NET covers nearly 100 counties in the 10 Emerging Infections Program states (CA, CO, CT, GA, MD, MN, NM, NY, OR, TN) and four Influenza Hospitalization Surveillance Project states (IA, MI, OH, and UT).

This case surveillance public use dataset can be used for data collection and analysis. The dataset includes 12 elements for all COVID-19 cases shared with the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control and includes demographics, any exposure history, disease severity indicators and outcomes, presence of any underlying medical conditions and risk behaviors, and no geographic data.
