This case study outlines how the Harris County Public Health Department (HCPH), Texas, developed and championed health equity-focused policies, structures, staffing positions, and trainings. This study investigates the effects of the pandemic on software developers’ well-being and productivity and how the organizations they work for can support them to improve employee productivity. The study concluded that to improve employee productivity, software companies should focus on maximizing employee well-being and improving the ergonomics of employees’ home offices. Women, parents, and disabled individuals may require extra support.

Peer Review Study
This article aims to present a proposal, based on the principles of clinical governance, health management and information technology (IT), and to respond to the need for a structured organization model for post-acute COVID-19 rehabilitation. The authors present a regional-based model of a network of clinicians and healthcare managers using a dedicated IT platform to achieve both effectiveness and efficiency objectives, to ensure coordination of the available resources and the most appropriate rehabilitative treatment for patients.
