This press release announces a campaign launched by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment to send texts and emails to parents of children aged 5-11 who are due for their next COVID vaccine. The Colorado Immunization Information System, which was set up prior to the COVID-19 pandemic but now includes COVID-19 vaccinations, is used to identify which children are due for an additional vaccination.

This article details the Project HAPPY (HIV/AIDS Prevention Project for Youth) and how it engaged Black/African-American youth through research and implementation of the project. Youth were a part of expert panel that reviewed proposed HIV/AIDS curricula. and did outreach to get youth enrolled in the program. They recruited 431 teens and enrolled 57%, with 72% of enrolled youth attending all sessions.

This article summarizes the approach taken by Florida CBO the Contigo Fund, which created two relief funds to address structural inequities among the LGBTQ+ and Black communities. These funds were used to provide grants to other organizations that support these communities and direct small grants to applicants.
