Systematic Review/Meta-Analysis
This review of state data collection and reporting practices during the COVID-19 pandemic found inconsistencies and gaps in data collected by race and ethnicity. Emerging Practices that show potential to achieve desirable public health outcomes in a specific real-life setting and produce early results that are consistent with the objectives of the activities and thus indicate effectiveness.

Peer Review Study
This research links test results from a national laboratory database to the residential ZIP code from U.S. Census data, comparing positive rates of COVID-19 by race and ethnicity. The results show a correlation between ZIP codes with the highest proportion of Black and Hispanic populations and the highest rates of COVID-19.

Peer Review Study
The study explores where and how Black women are obtaining information that pertains to COVID-19, along with the impacts that COVID-19 may be having on their daily lives. A codebook was developed based on the recorded interviews, which included deductive and inductive codes. A thematic analysis of the data was then conducted using MaxQDA (Verbi Software), focusing on Black women’s experiences related to COVID-19. The majority of participants were using a combination of social media platforms and news sources to obtain information about COVID-19.
