Case Study
This case study outlines how the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) in Illinois partnered with community organizers on worker and immigrant rights to create a multisectoral collaborative to address root causes of health inequity called the Collaborative for Health Equity. It has built relationships with local social justice organizations that have helped guide CCDPH to center health equity in its strategic plans.
