This article describes how Louisiana’s COVID-19 Health Equity Task force advises the Louisiana Department of Health and a support network for county and local health departments to provide feedback and evidence-based solutions to crisis management. This task force received funding to research racial and ethnic disparities related to COVID-19. It also streamlines operational processes for the state related to COVID-19.
