This article describes how youth-serving community-based organizations in New York City and Amsterdam used techniques cultivated prior to the pandemic to support youth well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the United States, mobile health clinics are an important method for delivering high quality care to medically underserved populations. To address declining vaccination coverage among young children in Boston during the pandemic, Mattapan Community Health Center (Mattapan) and Codman Square Health Center (Codman Square) partnered with the Kraft Center for Community Health at Massachusetts General Hospital and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers to deploy a pediatric mobile health clinic as an adjunct to their in-person clinical services.

Case Study
This case study outlines how the Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH) in Illinois partnered with community organizers on worker and immigrant rights to create a multisectoral collaborative to address root causes of health inequity called the Collaborative for Health Equity. This collaborative explicitly works to address structural racism and health inequities. It has built relationships with local social justice organizations that have helped guide CCDPH to center health equity in its strategic plans.
